Power Introductory Paragraph

"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character,give him power." 

You can see a normal person in the streets and say he is completely harmless but once he gets a little bit of power he will abuse it. You will soon see the kind of man he is. I agree because whenever someone has power over you he/she will use it in any manner. This can clearly be seen in WWII when "Adolf Hitler" came into control but before that he was just a normal guy but as soon as he got power it showed the evil he was and it was no good. In "Chasing Lincoln's Killer." Abraham Lincoln had all power and whenever he got shot "John Wilkes Booth" had the power to shoot him in plain sight. Both were powers but now the authority had the power to execute him.

(Theme) Power

(Why) I chose this book because the summary it had on the back told me about a guy named "Stanley Yelnats" and his family was under a curse and it made me curious thinking how he will overcome this curse and put a end to it. 

(Predictions) He will surpass this so called "curse" and finally show the family there was never a curse at all.

The "Hero"

"My hero can do anything he inspires me to do things but only the things I'm capable of. The strength and perseverance he has is very effective on me.Seeing him put all his hard work onto something and never giving up is inspiring that's why he's my hero and why I try at the things I do. He gives it his 100% in everything he does and that's who I look up to."

#30 The tragic ending

Isai,Samuel,and Hernan were so hungry hey could eat a horse. Right after they played there soccer game for Dalton High School they went to munch out at zaxbys. They didn't know they had coupons but as soon as they got to the register they were expired by a year and remembered they were in 2014. After they finished eating they drove off it was so dark out since it was Samuels's dog chikilin. After a long day something tragic happened Samuel was not very happy about this.
